Detailed Career Description
Mr. Pan is a Chinese native and lived in Beijing and Hong Kong before immigrating to the USA. He earned a B.A. degree of Business from Beijing and went on to graduate business major in US. He also earned an Internet design certificate from the University of Minnesota.
He speaks Mandarin and Cantonese and worked as a news journalist in China before moving to the United States. He has done business consulting and translator work for many US companies, such as Honeywell, Cargill Co, Carlson Co, and Delta Airlines. He also held positions with Tiger Trade Co, taught cross culture training, and teaches American businessmen how to enter China to do business.
In the past seven years, Mr. Pan acted as import and export director for a local Minnesota company, managing 14 companies in 9 countries, including China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Singapore, Malaysia, Korea, Thailand, Vietnam, Indonesia, Japan, Australia and New Zealand.
He traveled once a month to those countries to find distributors and developed strong relationships with his distributors. Because he is American Chinese and knows the culture and languages, he has been successful in developing business in many fields in China - manufacture of clothing, beauty products, health products, furniture, and so on. Also, he has rich connections with large educational institutes, colleges and universities.
Mr. Pan continues to travel to China, Hong Kong and Taiwan to attend tradeshows, to support his distributors, and to teach his distributors how to sell and how to do business with American companies introducing many Chinese companies into working relationships with American companies. Mr. Pan invited many successful Chinese companies’ staff to enter the US to get training and sign exclusive contracts with American firms.
